ELECTRIFYING MINNESOTA: NOBLES COOPERATIVE ELECTRIC CELEBRATES 90 YEARS

Nobles Cooperative Electric is celebrating 90 Years Together with a traveling exhibit that showcases how electricity shaped life across Minnesota.

The Electrifying Minnesota exhibit will be available during the NCE Member Reception at the Murray County Historical Museum, located at 2480 29th Street, Slayton, on Saturday, March 21, 10 a.m. - Noon.

The exhibit takes visitors back to the late 19th and early 20th centuries, when electricity first became available in homes and businesses. Period specific silent films, historic photographs, and interactive activities will take the visitor from learning about the thrill of lighting a home at the flick of a switch through plans for the future of electricity.

The exhibit is from the Minnesota History Center and the Bakken Museum.

Coffee and Donuts will be served.
