Adalie Pick, daughter of Emily and Adam Pick of Avoca and a fourth-grade student at MCC West Elementary, recently earned a trip to the Minnesota State Gymnastics Championships, qualifying in four events.
Adalie Pick has been on the Marshall Sapphire gymnastics team for three years, but this is her first year on a competitive gymnastics team. She qualified for state competition in beam, bars, floor and vault.
“I’m just so excited that we made it to state because my coaches, team, and I worked very hard to get there!” Adalie said.
Early in the season, Adalie earned an award for being the most dedicated gymnast. She is scheduled to compete Thursday, February 26.
