Minnesota West Community and Technical College awarded students of $82,000 in scholarships last year. There are a wide variety of scholarships for new and returning students available through the Minnesota West Foundation and the Minnesota Workforce Development scholarship. Scholarship applications are available online and the deadline to apply is Friday, April 15.

For over one hundred years Midwest Supply has been a family-owned hardware business serving the needs of agricultural families and businesses in Slayton. After two years of preparation and training, the Murray County Medical Center is thrilled to announce they have launched the new Epic software system for Electronic Medical Records or what are sometimes called Electronic Health Records. Chief Information Officer Justin Keller commented the new system went live a few weeks ago and though there have been a few challenges, the system is working quite well.
