U OF M BEEF TEAM TO HOST COW/CALF DAYS SEMINAR TOUR AND TRADE SHOW IN FEBRUARY

The University of Minnesota Beef Team is proud to host the annual Cow/Calf Days Seminar Tour and Trade Show at 10 locations across the state in January (northern tour) and February (southern tour). This is the 50th year this educational program has been offered to cow-calf producers across the state, and continues to be the leading information, technology, and research outlet for Minnesota cow/calf producers.

WARRIOR WRESTLERS COMPETE ON THE ROAD

On January 12, the Fulda/MCC Warriors traveled to Worthington for a triangular against Worthington and Springfield then on Saturday to Colton, SD for the Tri-Valley Tournament. The Warriors fared well against the Springfield Tigers winning the dual 48-23, but Adrian got the best of them winning 53-14. First up for the Warriors were the Springfield Tigers and Kaston Clarke did not disappoint as he got in on a deep double leg takedown against Nathen Groebner. Clarke rode hard driving against Groebner’s post arm, eventually securing an arm bar, and continuing his forward momentum, put Groebner on his back for the pin within the first minute of the match.
