Celebrating Flag Day!!

The children and young adults of Christ Lutheran participated in Operation Restoration VBS. For three days, they learned the importance of mending God’s world by feeding the hungry, caring for the sick, and rest. Each day, they had a special visitor from the community that talked about the importance of these themes. The kids and young adults also created a little over 90 Snack Sacks for Kids to donate to the food shelf, providing opportunities for children in need to enjoy yummy snacks this summer, created their own first aid kits, and decorated personal pillow cases to remind them to rest and take care of themselves, as well as others. Their days also included a bible lesson from Pastor Chad related to the theme, music and dance, as well as outdoor play. A blast was had by all!
