By Arnold Krusemark In years past when we had friends and relation over for the Thanksgiving Day meal, we had enough leftovers to last through a few more meals. Sometimes the meals were the next days after Thanksgiving. Sometimes the leftovers went into the freezer section of the refrigerator to be enjoyed through the winter.

The MCC Varsity Team was given the Gold Team Academic Award. There are two levels of academic excellence recognized in the MSHSCA academic excellence program. Gold Level standard has been set at a team GPA of 3.75 and above, and Silver Level standard has been set at a team GPA of 3:50 to 3.74.

Transitions The transition between sports seasons is always a busy time at Murray County Central. I was asked the other day if I was able to have a few more evenings at home since our fall sports had wrapped up, but truth be told, it is often even busier during this transition than while our teams are in full swing.
