The Fulda/Murray County Central Warriors wrestling team finished off their season as a team in excellent fashion, giving everything they had and more. The boys worked hard in and out of the wrestling room this season and it showed this week as they took on the Pipestone Arrows in the section 3a quarterfinals, winning the dual 40-26.

In the rematch of a lopsided affair in Slayton, the February 20 game had many similarities. A tough match-up for the Rebels on Senior night for RTR.

The Rebel Boys played their second home conference game of the week, Friday night (February 16) against Adrian/ Ellsworth, in the second of two meetings this season. MCC won the first meeting in Ellsworth back on January 18th by a score of 85-46.

March is National Nutrition Month, and here at MCC we are proud to provide our students with well rounded, nutritious meals and smart snacks while in school. We have free breakfast offered daily for students, even on late start days our students have the option to have a grab and go breakfast that meets the standards of a nutritious breakfast. This year lunches are provided free to all students as well. While we encourage students and families to embrace nutrition and wellness year round, March can provide families with the opportunity to explore more healthy eating habits and physical activity habits.

United Way of Southwest Minnesota (UWSWMN) is excited to announce that we are now accepting Community Impact Grant applications through our online process. United Way is an organization that works to improve every community member’s health, education, and financial stability.
